Hi, I’m Staci — writer, recovering perfectionist, and reluctant DIYer with a love for storytelling and a habit of biting off more projects than I probably should. I started this blog to document our real-life, real-messy home improvement adventures, starting with our biggest one yet: turning a pre-built storage shed into a cozy home office for two.

My husband Reggie is the steady-handed, power-tool-loving half of this operation. While I come up with big ideas (and usually a blog post to go with them), he’s the one who calmly Googles how to keep them from collapsing. Together, we’re figuring things out as we go — with plenty of laughs, eye rolls, and trips to the hardware store along the way.
